Customize your character with a range of options in body types.

Cozy farm/sim games are on the rise. They are not only becoming more popular but so many more twists and spins on them. The dynamics are very similar to games in its field but just looking at it; the textures, features and abilities definitely make it stand out. Before even playing this game, many people had it on their wishlist upon announcement.

You can play Fae Farm with 1-4 others in farming, fishing, catching critters, cooking, battling and mining. There is literally something for everyone in this game to do solo or with your friends. With the ability to have multiple saves/servers the game play really can be endless.

The NPC’s that are available add more game play and dialect to the story. But not a lot personal 1 on 1 character dialect. The characters from what I have seen don’t have much of a deep character story behind them compared to other similar games in its field. But if you’re like me I don’t run too much into NPC’s dialect, so I don’t see it fazing my gameplay too much. You can spend as much time as you want raising your own funds selling in the market, buying and customizing your own outfits or find that special someone to someday marry and start a family with.

With so many NPC’s it’s okay if you don’t make relations with all of them but you can have as many best friends as you choose. Cook them their favorite foods, gift them items you’ve even crafted and just talking to them daily will do the trick. But don’t forget that you need to travel through the mines and watch out for items that got a cast of magic on them and need to be sent back to the where they came from. The towns people didn’t know what to do with some poorly enchanted items and just locked them away. Out of sight out of mind energy for sure. While playing you will definitely see your hour turn into many going along the map and seeing tundra changing and clearly the land of magical vines.

Get your blankets and you teas and get cozy with this really fun jampacked sim rpg Fae Farm. I’ve already dumped 10 hours into this game and I see a lot more coming as my friends start to get it and we head down the multiplayer adventure together.

My Museum-Simulate art and Indiana Jones style exhibitions

Growing up I actually liked going to museums. It was either the environment of packing up for the day and spending time in a new place or the feeling of “time traveling” and seeing how life and things were back in ancient times. And not even ancient times; learning about our own surroundings even in the then and now. Wow, I felt some nostalgia there for a moment thinking of my museum visits as a kid and taking my sons to even some in the last few years. Well with how the world has been going, some places are 100% open back up and some with small restrictions you may be able to still enjoy some museum time and you yourself be the curator of it.

You know me, I love my simulation games and when My Museum came across my sites I had to dive into it. My museum is developed by ManyDev Studio and Code Meister. It is not available yet on Steam but I would definitely add it to your wishlist for when the prologue drops.I got this game free of charge to play test and give what I give best, my honest review.

My actual game play screen shot *getting to my museum*

Opening up My Museum starts off already relaxing. The music is enlightening and the textures are very smooth and crisp. If you have ever played or watched house flipper it has those vibes. Everything you will be doing is in first person ,view of hands and arms mode. So it puts you right there handling all the work. So what exactly are we doing in a museum simulator? There is more to it than I had actually expected. The forefront of the game is that you have inherited your grandfather’s museum and it is in pretty bad shape. But you’re an art lover, antiques restorer, traveling business man/woman so this should be a breeze. Right?

Demo days are always fun days. As you start restoring your museum you have a plan to make it the best of its kind for critics and visitors to enjoy. You can head to your computer to purchase items from more art, displays and tools to do your job. But the fun part is getting to go out on exhibitions. The first adventure takes us to a temple in Egypt, it gives us some Indiana Jones vibes. We have to uncover puzzles, paths and stories to find more artifacts to bring back to the museum. I personally got nervous. Please in real life do not just take something from a sacred location, that just gave me goosebumps. But for the game, we shall collect. From there it’s said in the game that you have to weigh out your options of cleaning and displaying it or leave it in its age of distress and sell it. Because some items just may do better untouched and sold rather than restoring it and losing out on some money. YIKES!

In game it already shows that there are enough things to keep you busy. If you’re like me I spend way too much time decorating. Okay, in my eyes it’s just enough time for my vision; that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I’m curious to see if we will be able to expand the museum, what lies behind some places that look like doorways, what else is in that Egyptian temple and what will the lineup of exhibitions be? I took their survey and I personally voted for Atlantis.

Short but hands on play test, I’ll be close watching to see more on what My Museum grows into.

Save the bees; Bee Simulator

I love a good simulator and it’s hard for me to walk away from one. My brother was doing his daily game browsing and he found this cute game, Bee Simulator on Steam.

When I say my brother knows me, he knows exactly what is right up my alley. I had the stream key in my inbox before I knew it. Released November 17, 2020; so, it has couple years on it. You can purchase Bee Simulator for $19.99 (keep an eye out I just saw it’s on sale under $10) When my brother purchased the game he said proceeds went to a bee preservation non profit.

Now if you know any simulation game, it puts you in the forefront of what it’s like doing that specific job. And as expected you get to be a Bee. A cute, talking bee apart of a huge, beautiful hive.

Not to mention you can remote play Bee Simulator in Steam so you and a friend can Co-Op

My game play from Bee Simulator *Leaving the Hive*

The devs Varsav Game Studios captured not only the life of a bee but a beautiful atmosphere of what they might see. Not just the beautiful view of the flowers, but how they might interact with other insects, running into people being a full adventurer on the search for pollen and nectar.

The detailing in the game from the bees body and wings to the whole environment is breath taking and I give it a full applause. Besides visual beauty you get a few learning points in the game.

You collect trophies from the trophy room of other animals and insects you come across. It gives you informative information on where they can be found in the habitats, what they eat, predators and more. Animal lovers will love this for sure. This game gives us not only a chill vibe but a reason to learn why we should save and protect the bees and other living creatures.

Now don’t fret, you aren’t just flying around, pollinating and learning. There are some obstacles as a bee you have to face. Some are fun and some are fight worthy, literally.

My game play from Bee Simulator *Collected in the trophy room*

You’ll find yourself fighting wasps and hornets that are trying to take over your hive. Sometimes they do put up a fight, but the fighting mechanics are pretty easy. It’s as simple as a left right click on perfect timing on your mouse.

When you aren’t protecting you can do other side missions to help other bees get special flowers or race them even. You’ll get what’s called bee vision and you’ll have the ability to see common, uncommon, rare and epic flowers. The higher the rarity the more pollen and nectar you’ll get and take what you can back to the hive before winter hits.

To be able to have a game that’s visually appealing and a family game is a plus for me. This is something I’d love to share with my 7-year-old who does enjoy learning about animals, and we have had plenty of discussion on why we need to protect the bees. He’s gotten better at not freaking out around then.

My game play from Bee Simulator *Bee Vision*

If adventure, casual and simulation games are right up your alley, please try out Bee Simulator. Not to mention the music is very quaint and relaxing. I can see myself buzzing around after a long workday to just sit back and relax.

One summer in Copenhagen

To say I deal with anxiety and depression is an understatement. It literally almost runs my life. But I digress, it makes me who I am and I have learned to control, relax and find my space when I hit those moments. So, living with such a mental illness IRL; let’s put it into a game and see how we can play out someone else’s life with it. I introduce to you, Stilstand.

Still stand is available on Steam, iOS and Google Play

Stilstand is a casual Indie game that released on steam on Aug 27, 2020; developed and published by Niila Games. When you first see this game, not even going to lie I thought of some old 1980’s music video, the sketched out background and moving so quickly it makes your eyes cross. It’s different but from some of the reviews just might be worth the play

This is a work of art. Of course more an interactive story than a game, but it’s so beautiful and poetic. I totally recommend this as an example of the kind of immersive poetry you can create with the game as a medium. Love it.

Luhmann on steam

The entire game is hand drown, interactive like a graphic novel. It highlights and focuses on how in today’s world we have all of these high expectations for young people and how fragile they are and why they seem to struggle. Well, that’s me at even 32 years old right?

Follow along with a young woman as she starts to tackler her life and simply stay above sea level. It’s the Summer time in Copenhagen; she is filled with anxiety and loneliness. Well, she doesn’t seem to be quite fully alone. Either she is crazy or I’m missing something in my own home but she speaks with a shadow person in her apartment. Is it there to help her or push you over the edge?

Maybe be careful going into this game if you are dealing with severe depression/anxiety, or have or had bipolar or borderline personality disorder as I know this type of game will trigger some difficult memories and feelings.

Maghook on steam

There is love, adventure, texting and even social media you need to help her get through to make the right choices. There may be some slight older references so I would leave this game for the more mature gamers.

Can the shadow person in her apartment help her through anxiety and loneliness?

If you would like something very different and I hear the game isn’t too long. Check out steam for Stilstand at $9.99. It first came out on iOS and is also available on Google Play.

Neo Cab: Will Lina find her friend and be the last human driver?

What would it be like to be the last living Uber driver in the nation? Would it be freaky or just a movement towards advancement in technology? Come and check out Neo Cab and see the struggles that main character Lina faces.

Neo Cab is a single player game and it was released October 3, 2019 on steam from the developer Chance Agency and publisher Fellow Traveller. You can find Neo cab on steam right now for $14.99. You can find the game under adventure, Indie and RPG.

Luna driving Neo cab and with Savy her best friend.

Lina packed up her entire life to be with her best friend. Like many friends they had a rough falling out and have lost touch. They still consider one another best friends but Lina wants to reconnect with Savy and so she packs up and sells most of her life and heads to Los Ojos. She hasn’t even visited LO but she knows reconnecting with her friend and starting a new life is worth it.

Lina’s job is with Neo Cab, the last human driver for hire, so an Uber. All of the drivers now are ran by Capra. The cars are self-driven and Capra is running just about everything and everyone down to their bank accounts and police force. Once Lina enters Los Ojos she starts Neo Cab pickups. People are surprised and a little relieved to see a human behind a wheel and even now some people are down right against any type of vehicle as they call them death traps. As the night progresses Lina finally meets up with her best friend Savy, but it isn’t for long. She never makes it to their joint apartment and Savy ends up missing, kidnapped or worse. Lina is now a detective, homeless and in a new city she knows nothing about; all she has is her car, job and her thoughts.

Neo Cab: Lina uncovering what happened to her best friend.

Lina is now  sleeping in places where she can and does nightly drives to uncover the town, find out who knows Savy and what business she may have gotten into that she shouldn’t have and well get money from driving Neo Cab. At the same time she has to be careful as Capra has set out a law that is trying to be passed to ban all human drivers because they cause a threat to society.

So come and tag along with Lina in Los Ojos and uncover the abduction, try and stay afloat in a new city and survive without running into the wrong crowd.

My viewers and I are really loving Neo Cab. It has suspense and a really good sound track as a bonus. But it takes a spin on games that usually you would think would have more action but the conversations pull you in and it was so much fun interacting with my viewers and throwing out our own plots and what if’s and even letting them decided what Lina’s next move or statement would be. Even when I streamed last night, viewers asked when the next play of Neo Cab was going to be. So we will for sure be finishing throughout the game on stream. As stated you can get Neo Cab on steam but you can also remote play from a phone or tablet. The game does have captions so you will be doing a lot of reading/reading out loud. But I don’t mind it, it pulls you into the game and makes you feel more like a detective with Lina.

Neo Cab: menu to keep track of rating, clues, journal, money and the map of Los Ojos.

You have to keep track of your smart car’s energy, your money flow and your mood. Savy gave you a pretty much a mood bracelet that is called a Feelgrid. It keeps track if you need to cool your jets and take a break or ready to uncover your new found mystery. But people that see it seem to like to comment on it. The only thing I don’t like is when her mood is a certain color the game may give you 3 responses but you have to pick the one they want. I don’t see how that is fair and seems like they shouldn’t even give you the other options. You also have to keep your Neo Cab driver score over a 4 star rating; so the game does offer objects to keep in mind during game play. You really have to pay attention to the conversations that you have with your customers in Neo Cab, they give you many hints on where to go and sometimes who to even pick up. It’s nice that Lina keeps a journal that you can go back and look at as she scribbles down clues from her pax, these are the customers she picks up.

Neo Cab map of Los Ojos

I hope you can join in on the next stream of Neo Cab. I will be having my next stream of the game October 11th about 8pm cst. Come and help us uncover where Savy is and who took her.

P.S. I do recommend this game as 4/5 stars for an Indie and RPG game.

Galaxy out,

Luna
